I spoke too soon. After walking from the middle of Times Square and almost 20 blocks of shops on Fifth Avenue and no sign of Christmas, it was a beautiful sight to sit down to dinner at Del Friscos and see lights flashing on an eight-story Christmas Tree above Radio City Music Hall's Marquee.
On the walk back to the hotel, the ice rink at Rockefeller Center was busy with skaters, experienced and beginners hugging the rail. It's beginning to feel a tiny, tiny bit like Christmas after all.
