The Nightmare before Christmas 3D
For those who never thought Disney would release a film in which Santa Claus is kidnapped and tortured, well, here it is! His benignly scary-funny sensibility dominates the story of Halloweentown resident Jack Skellington who stumbles on a bizarre and fascinating alternative universe called ... Christmastown! As Roger Ebert noted in his review, "some of the Halloween creatures might be a tad scary for smaller children, but this is the kind of movie older kids will eat up; it has the kind of offbeat, subversive energy that tells them wonderful things are likely to happen." --from Jim Emerson's review on Amazon.com
Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas'
Would it be Christmas without Bing Crosby singing Irving Berlin's 'White Christmas'? Irving Berlin wrote all the songs in the movie 'White Christmas' released in 1954 starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Vera-Ellen and Rosemary Clooney.
Home Alone - Best Christmas Movies
Released in 1990, 'Home Alone' is still one of the best holiday movies. The $533 million ‘Home Alone’ made worldwide was enough to earn it a place in the Guinness Book of Records for highest grossing comedy ever. Even though he's seen it over and over and over again, this remains one of my son's favorite movies of his childhood.
Christmas Medley by Storm Front
Storm Front, a barbershop quartet, sang this Christmas Medley in July 2006 during International Barbershop Convention and had people rolling on the floor with laughter.
The song they followed up with isn't about Christmas, but it will make you smile.
Christmas Music - The First Noel
as you've never heard it
This is the best Christmas song we've heard in a long time. "Sarah Mclachlan-The First Noel Mary Mary." Great video, too!
Not your same old "Jingle Bells"
Revamped, remixed, redone...these are not your standard take on the favorite Christmas tune "Jingle Bells". We're not saying they're all great and that we'd play them at our party, but hey, to each his own! Try these out, you just might like one (or not):
